The Sustainable Built Environment D-A-CH Conference 2019 (SBE19 Graz) will take place from the 11th to the 14th of September 2019 at Graz University of Technology. With close to 200 scientific presentations, well-known keynote-speakers and an Exhibition, the Conference offers countless opportunities to learn more about sustainable built environment and to connect with experts in their field.
About the Conference
The SBE19 Graz conference is part of a major international series of conferences with focus on sustainable buildings and construction. The series was launched by the International Council for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction (CIB) and the International Initiative for a Sustainable Built Environment (iiSBE) two decades ago. These partners were subsequently joined by the Sustainable Building and Climate Initiative (SBCI) of UN Environment and the International Federation of Consulting Engineers (FIDIC). The series now runs on a three-year cycle and has become recognized as the world’s preeminent conference series in this field.
Topics of the Conference
The topics focus on buildings, building design, cities, processes and products. Additionally, an entire day (11 September) is reserved for discussing the UN Sustainable Development Goals and their implementation in the construction sector. The program is further enhanced by Special Sessions and Special Fora, which look into more specific subjects.
